Hi there!

During the summer we were working on several new features for the Sentinel Hub, and some of them are ready for testing. There are also plenty of opportunities this autumn to meet us at the various events. Check the events below. Warmly invited!

Multi-temporal Processing
The real power of remote sensing lies in ongoing monitoring based on multi-temporal processing of data. We added this functionality to our real-time satellite imagery processing service. Although in beta at the moment, you can already test it. Read more about it here.
For those of you interested in exploring this functionality, contact us. Once the feature is ready for wider use, we will let you know.

MODIS - New Dataset Available Soon
We are currently working on adding a new dataset to the Sentinel Hub services - Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) MCD43A4 version 6. The dataset is hosted at Amazon Web Services (AWS) in the U.S., and it is a 16-day product, updated daily. It provides the 500 meter reflectance data of the MODIS "land" bands 1-7.
As many data products derived from MODIS observations describe features of the land, oceans and the atmosphere, they can be used for studies of processes and trends on local to global scales. Let us know if you would like to be notified when we open the dataset for beta testing. More info is coming soon!

EO Browser at ESA's Summer Teacher Workshop
EO Browser was introduced to 50 European teachers at ESA’s Summer Teacher Workshop in July. During the 4-day workshop the primary and secondary school teachers were testing the capabilities of this free satellite imagery visualisation tool. Read more about the most appreciated features.

Sinergise partners with Airbus Defence and Space
We are proud to announce that Sinergise partnered with Airbus Defence and Space to provide Pléiades imagery, which will be available for purchase and distributed through the  Sentinel Hub services.

Come and meet us at the upcoming events
We will be all around the world this Autumn and we are looking forward to meeting you in person.

September 13-15: EnviroInfo Conference (Luxembourg)
Come and listen to our presentation on the usefulness of the Sentinel Hub services and the possibilities offered by open access to satellite data which benefits numerous sectors - environmental and land-change monitoring, natural disaster response, agriculture and others. See the program here.

September 25-28: EO Open Science 2017 Conference (ESRIN, Frascati, Italy)
Beside meeting several members of the Sentinel Hub team, we kindly invite you to our keynote in Data Analytics, “Detecting clouds in a cloud environment – finding a fast and accurate cloud detection to run on Sentinel Hub cloud”, which will be held on September 25. The program overview.

September 25-29: International Astronautical Congress (Adelaide, Australia)
At the world’s largest space conference Grega Milčinski will be participating at the roundtable about Big Space Data (Plenary 8: From Up There to Down Here Big Space Data Driving Sustainable Development and Economic Growth on Earth, see program).

October 19: Earth on Amazon Conference (Colorado, USA)
Earth on AWS event titled Global Environmental Change Science, Last-Mile Research, and Cloud Computing, will be held at the University of Colorado. Join us at our presentation!

October 23-26: GEO Exhibition at the GEO Week 2017 (Washington, D.C., USA)
Come and talk to us at the European stand. We will be happy to answer your questions and give a demonstration of our satellite imagery tools.

November 3-9: European Space Week (Tallinn, Estonia)
As 2016 Copernicus Masters winner we accepted the invitation from ESA to share our story and help announce this years’ winners at the European Space Week in Tallinn.

November 12-18: Agritechnica 2017 (Hanover, Germany)
Don’t miss the chance to meet us at Agritechnica in November, where more will be revealed about our recent work.
